This Privacy Policy explains how FitIn App LLC (DBA stayfor) ("stayfor," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the stayfor mobile application, website, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
• Account information: name, email address, phone number, password, and role (client or instructor). • Profile information: profile photo, bio, city, workout preferences, and — for instructors — certifications, social links, and pricing. • Booking information: classes you book or host, dates, and attendance. • Payment information: when you make a purchase, payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers. • Communications: messages you send us for support, and reviews or ratings you submit.
• Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, and how you interact with the Service. • Location information: if you enable location permissions, we may collect your approximate or precise location to show nearby classes and instructors. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings. • Push notification tokens: if you enable notifications, we collect a device token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) to send you booking updates, reminders, and other alerts. • Crash and diagnostic data: we use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information to help us fix bugs and improve stability.
We use the information we collect to: • Create and manage your account and authenticate you when you log in. • Operate core features: matching you with classes and instructors, processing bookings, and facilitating payments and payouts. • Send transactional communications (booking confirmations, cancellations, reminders, waitlist notifications) and, where you have opted in, marketing communications. • Operate our referral program, including tracking referral codes and crediting rewards. • Maintain the security and integrity of the Service, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service. • Improve and troubleshoot the Service, including through crash and diagnostic reporting.
We share information with the following categories of third parties, only as needed to operate the Service: • Instructors and other users: when you book a class, the Instructor can see your name and booking details; when you host a class, attendees can see your name and profile. • Stripe: to process payments and, for instructors, payouts. Stripe's use of your information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy. • Firebase / Google: for authentication support, push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), and crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics). • Amazon Web Services (AWS): to store uploaded images (such as profile photos and class banner images) in secure cloud storage. • Service providers: vendors who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting and infrastructure providers), bound by confidentiality obligations. • Legal and safety: if required by law, or where we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of stayfor, our users, or the public. • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We do not sell your personal information.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required to retain it (for example, payment and tax records).
• Access and update: you can review and update most of your profile information directly in the app. • Account deletion: you can request deletion of your account from within the app or by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as financial records). • Notifications: you can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings. • Location: you can disable location permissions at any time in your device settings. • Marketing communications: you can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in those emails. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, such as the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you or to object to certain processing. The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy reflects when it was last revised.
